“Don’t forget the flowers,” I thought! So I went to Kroger and bought beautiful white roses symbolizing and envisioning the everlasting love they would have for this beautiful soon to be baby of theirs! Little did I realize it would be painful for them to hold the roses throughout the entire photo session as someone FORGOT to de-thorn them! Ha! Just like life…we are so excited to hold and cuddle our sweet little newborn babies but I totally remember those sleepless nights with my first little boy! I thought “WOW…how do people actually function on such little sleep?” I literally called my mom to see how she did it when I was a newborn!

Even though it can be tough at first I know it is totally worth all the blood, sweat and tears (literal tears). Wishing Kelly and Sameer all the blessings with their precious new life! I am also praying and hoping they can survive those first few months of sleepless nights…I know they will. Please join me in congratulating them on their baby boy who was born just this last week!!
