This last holiday weekend I was super blessed to get the opportunity to fly to Phoenix, Arizona to see my little sister Kendall. My mom and other sister Heidi convinced me to go with them because my in-laws were here in Dallas staying with me and who can resist a girls trip without kids? This gal right here, ha! I had such a great time visiting with family and not only that, I got to see the Grand Canyon of all places!! I had never been before so I was completely blown away by some of God’s artwork.

Some people have like ZERO fear of heights. I thought I didn’t until I looked down and there went 7000 feet, whew that was a scary feeling!!

  

I had no words but the breathlessness and awe of how great GOD really is!!

 

In the mean time I was able to get some great head shots thanks to my sisters who were not afraid to tell me what to wear and when I had a hair out of place (hey what is family for anyway). It is always so different being on the other side of the camera because I like many of you do not know what to do with myself ;). Luckily I have had some experience with this being the photographer and I had plenty of other eyes!
