After a few years of Motherhood I have learned so much more about what is harmful out there and the importance of being a chemical free home. I became much more aware of these things when my first one was rolling all over the floor, then to crawling with both hands touching everything!! It really made me aware of EVERYTHING I was doing and I started to question if chemicals were still the way to go? Chemicals that were harmful to my baby’s health and overall well being.
Not too long after this I had a close friend of mine start posting about this new phenomenon called Norwex. Which only use cloths without the need for chemicals that actually kill the bacteria on contact. Norwex has forever changed the way I clean my house and not only that it is way FASTER and MORE EFFECTIVE! I personally love the product and this company has given me PLENTY of rewards for having a party. Seriously I have a HUGE stash of Norwex product that I won for FREE!! Just for having a party! I love that I don’t have to worry anymore about my little ones picking up these harmful chemicals off of our surfaces and onto their skin….WHEW!
“Like the thread of microfiber that is woven together to create our powerful cloths, we connect Norwex employees and Consultants from all over the globe and empower them to make a positive impact right where they live. By coming together, we will create a brighter future for our communities, our environment and future generations through the efforts of the people and the organizations we support.”
Not only that they are sending ‘Disaster Kits of Norwex products to families and organizations that have experienced a disaster or trauma such as a flood, fire or tornado. It is their hope that these kits will aid in care and cleanup as homes and communities are rebuilt.’
Another wonderful family owned business I have recently been introduced to is Oh Bases. This family puts their heart and soul into making every product perfect with All-Natural, Holistic, Chemical Free and Organic ingredients. They named it Oh Bases which is the marriage of two words. First “Oh” an emotional expression of desire as in “Oh my baby!” or “Oh Dear!”. Next “Bases” the plural of base as in foundation.
When I asked Rebecca Graham, the creator and founder of the company to share more about their small, family owned business, this is what she replied with:
