How I Sell my Used Baby and Kids Items Online For EXTRA CASH!!

If your anything like me your kids have grown way to fast for their clothes and they are still in great condition. Barely used items or items that were not used at all are pulled out of my kids closets each month. We have had so many sweet family members and friends give us clothes and toys that we have too many. After donating a ton of things there are still may be some items that I would like to sell. So here is some ideas to better help you sell your clothes and items online too.

LIGHTING IS EVERYTHING

Set your clothes or items on a WHITE blanket or sheet. This gives your buyer a nice and clean background to look at that is very attractive to the eye. Get as close to a window as you possibly can to let in as much natural light as possible! What I have learned from photography is lighting is everything and I have found that this is true when it comes to selling clothes and items online as well. Believe me it helps!

Make sure they can see the entire item but it is zoomed in as much as possible. On the iphone the zoom is not that great so I recommend you getting in as close as physically possible to your subject. This is so that it is easy for your potential buyer to see the item more clearly to make their decision.

Writing out a GOOD AND CLEAR Description

I find that writing a good description that tells a little bit about the condition helps them sell faster and more efficient. Things like. “Brand new and never worn” would personally be appealing to me, wouldn’t it you? Prices should be written below the picture definitely help narrow down for clarity on real buyers. Keep prices reasonable so that they will sell quickly and don’t forget to stay smart and safe while selling your items! You can even pair the items you are selling together and list out the prices below using instagrams filters! I usually feel best (and safest) about porch pickup to make things easiest and most convenient for all parties.

Use Lightroom for Editing or Instagram Filters

If you have not downloaded the Lightroom app, you seriously need to. You can edit so many of your family pictures and your items to sell to make them look more professional. Again lighting is everything so the more light you add to your pictures in editing the more professional they will look. This attracts the eye compared to all the other dull and dark images you normally see on your Facebook and Instagram feed.
