A Very Special Mom: Featuring the Khan Family
This Momma is a Super Hero
When I walked up to meet this family I was thrilled to get to know the Momma that was nominated for our special Mother’s Day shoot. My very good friend Subia spoke of this sweet mom and all the hard work she had invested in her family this last year. She has given her blood, sweat and tears for her family during some very difficult circumstances. Basically this woman is a SUPER HERO. She serves her boys and her husband well and does not expect anything in return. We all have a lot to learn from a girl like this!!
It not only moved me to choose her to be my Mother’s Day winner but I also was able to watch her in action. Her boys were SO SWEET and respectful during the entire session. I knew in the beginning it would take a little bit to make them feel at home with me and my camera. Usually little one’s get pretty shy in front of a camera so I was used to it. But not even ten minutes into the shoot both kiddos were totally into it. Smiles and giggles all around. They absolutely NAILED this shoot!
Moments Like These: She will Remember Forever
Even when things don’t always feel exciting once we put the camera down and get back to our normal lives, I am so happy we can have pictures to remind us of the good times. This is why I am so grateful that I get to do what I do. It is the smiles and giggles we get on camera that truly lasts us a lifetime. Truthfully I could feel the love these boys had for their Momma and they wanted nothing more than to make her heart happy! It also helped that Daddy was their too making them feel comfortable and making jokes to get them to laugh too. Happy Mother’s Day to this wonderful and special Momma!!
