That moment when…

Hands were shaking and hearts were trembling. Butterflies were fluttering over the joy of the question he just asked. It is a moment like that when everything stands still. You have been there before and so have I. Sometimes it’s not so good and sometimes it is ohh soo good. This was one of those moments where it was ohhh soooo good. It was one she and he would remember forever. The moment when he asked will you marry me and she said YESSS.

As he got down on one knee on that hot Wednesday afternoon, you could see the bewilderment and utter amazement in Jessica’s face. Could this really be happening right now? She grinned from ear to ear and happily said YES. After a really really really long hug the couple rejoiced together. You could feel the sheer joy and excitement at what was to come for their beautiful friendship.

Our lives are forever changed!

As this was all unfolding I couldn’t help but watch their kids joyfully smile. As they stood by and watched with anticipation they knew their lives would forever be changed too. I am so excited for this wonderful new family. I can’t wait to see the good God has in store for this lovely couple and family. Even though I don’t know them that well, I can tell there is a HUGE amount of love between them. We all need that in life. Someone who is head over heels in love with us as we are for them. They may see the good, the bad, the ugly but they still say yes to loving us. These are the sweet moments we live for and the story we will forever to tell.

Jessica Ann (bride to be) says “it was the best moment of my life! Our story began before either of us even knew it. Back when other plans and dreams lined the sheets of paper in our story. Little did with know that when chapters tragically ended and heartbreak left us on cliffhangers that God was foreshadowing something much bigger than anything we could have drafted. You are the ending I never knew I needed and the beginning of a story I can’t wait to tell!”
