Mommy and me…

As I sit here in my office watching the rain fall down I am in awe and overwhelmed of all God has blessed me with. And since we are spot-lighting all the incredible mommy and me sessions this Mother’s day I cannot neglect to acknowledge my very own mom! So here goes…say hello to my mom Mary! She is loving, supportive, giving and always there for you when you need help. My mom was the one who was with me when I picked out my wedding dress. The one I called frantically with excitement when my water broke with my first baby. I knew she was going to drop everything to drive 4 hours to come be with me that day with all her support! I am trying to type all of this without tearing up (too late haha) about this blessing God has given me. She truly is a great and inspirational lady. She loves on my kids and it still amazes me at how well she gets them.

Truly, I don’t know where I would be my special mama. She introduced me to the fine art of getting on my knees in a quiet place to pray. Many times I would over hear her praying over each one of her children in the next room. Mom is a fighter for what she believes in and does not give up easily! She loves God, her 4 girls and 8 grand kids.

Say hello to my beautiful and loving Mommy! Don’t forget to love on your mommy’s this Sunday! Remember they have invested a lot of their time and energy into your life!! Happy Mother’s Day mom!!
