Doing Life: Engagements with Queena, Nick and the pups..Stella and Yuki

This last weekend we had the pleasure of being a part of Queena and Nick’s engagement session. It was a blast. First things first, props to Queena and Nick because they did a great job hiking through the woods for a couple minutes to try and find the perfect spot by the creek. Extra props to Queena who was in heels 😉. We never force our clients to trudge through the woods, but if they are willing and wanting, it certainly makes for great pictures. The sun flare was coming through the trees just right and the breeze was amazing.

Puppy Love

Another special shout-out is due, Stella and Yuki. These pups more than cooperated. Even when you could tell they wanted to get there wiggles out and play, they would still slow down for a photo op. I think April was a little jealous of me, because while she was getting the couples photos without the pups, I got to get my doggy fix in.

The Grande Finale!

At the very end of the shoot we were able to get one of our most adventurous parts of the session in, which is a Facebook Live Surprise. Queena and Nick decided to pop a bottle of Champagne and give it a good spray. We love it when our couples are so easy going and willing to go with our crazy ideas!! It made for a good laugh and for some fun pics as well.

Thank you, Nick and Queena, for letting us take part in your lives this weekend and for the fun time we shared. Looking forward to capturing some special memories at your wedding.
