Engagement Session at Sundance Square

The Beginning

“I met a girl!” Trace proclaimed as he walked into my office. “Oh yeah?” I said, “Tell me about her.” “She’s smart, pretty, like gorgeous! I love being around her and I feel like she makes me a better person!”

It is not often that April and I have the pleasure of taking engagement pictures of couples we know personally, but when it happens, it is so much fun. There is something special about being a part in someones story, that is one of the main reasons we love doing what we do!

Trace and I had met back when we both worked for an automobile leasing company, before I started working with April, best co-worker ever, full time. Meeting him for the first time was like talking to someone you have known for years. He just has that easy going, fun spirited likeness about him.

Sundance Square

Meeting Emma for the first time the other night, it was easy to see why Trace was head over heels for her. Beyond her looks she was polite, confident, and a joyful spirit like trace himself. We met at the Water Gardens in Fort Worth, then after were scheduled to make a small trek over to Sundance Square. We could not have had more fun! Aside from the warm weather, the night was perfect! Trace and Emma’s confidence in front of our lens was inspiring. At one point I got to play traffic director while April captured a moment of them in downtown Fort Worth!

Emma and Trace thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to capture your memories. You may never be able to relive them, however you can always revisit when looking at your photos. We hope you both had as much fun as we did. After you both left, April and I talked and we decided, you both just have good sides! 😉 I wish you both the best and look forward to the day when we will be able to be a part of your story once again as you both take that next step. Until then, continue to cherish the moments you have now and grow in love.
