“Inspiration exists, but it must find you working.” – Pablo Picasso I have always liked this quote. It really defines how inspiration can be a missed opportunity if you do not take the time to put the work in to be inspired. In photography, sometimes inspiration can be harder to come by than others. Then sometimes, all that is required is to simply open the door. Two weeks ago we were honored with the opportunity to serve Marissa and Jared on their special day. While packing the gear and heading that way it was a typical wedding day. Check the gear list, give the timeline one final look, and wonder what will inspire today.
We arrived at the Wildflower, a white barn style venue in Emory Texas. Upon opening the doors we stopped for a moment in awe. The tables were all decorated with floral arrangements. Those in the center of the room had been put together in a very cleaver banquet style formation. Adorning the top of the middle table was a beautiful arrangement that flowed from the beginning of one side of the room to the end of the other, inspiration acquired! Moments later after admiring the beauty of venue and the decorations within, we were informed that Marissa helped make all the decorations! Beautiful and talented, Jared certainly is a lucky man!
It was the perfect day for a wedding. The outdoor ceremony was gorgeous and afterwards, we were able to take beautiful pictures of the wedding party and newlyweds at sunset. Jared and Marissa, thank you so much for letting us be a part of such a stunning occasion. Our hope for you both is that the love you share for each other will be timeless. But as time does transpire, you will be able to look back at your pictures and be inspired!
Until next we meet,
Cheers!
