Feeling of Appreciation

About a year ago we had the pleasure of photographing Mercedes and Layton’s wedding day. As photographers we feel so honored to have the opportunity to serve our happy couples on their special day! It is such an important decision, so when we are chosen, it always brings a feeling of appreciation. One thing that is even more special to us, is when we have the opportunity to serve a family more than once!

A year ago at Mercedes and Layton’s wedding, we met Natalie and Christopher. Christopher being Mercedes brother was in the wedding party. He and Natalie had been dating for a few months. Natalie told us that after they got engaged in September, she had seen all the pictures at Mercedes wedding and wanted to use us, YAY!!!!

Engagement Session

We met up with Natalie and Chris a few days ago for their engagement session at Arbor Hills. October really is the best month in Texas. The weather was perfect, the leaves on the trees were changing, and the fields had turned from green to gold. A perfect scenario for beautiful pictures!

As we moved around the hills, finding our favorite spots and lighting, we really did have a lot of fun. Natalie shared how Chris proposed at Celestial Park, down on one knee in the rain, very much a gentlemen. Also their plans for the future, Chris being a full time student and Natalie just graduating from UNT.

Natalie and Christopher, thank you so much for letting us capture your special moments with our cameras. Trouncing around Arbor Hills with you two really felt more like hanging out with friends than it did work. You both really are a pleasure to be around! Our hope for you is that you will cherish these next few months. They will go by so quickly and you will find yourselves married before you know it! So take time and relish what you have now. We also hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we do, you both look amazing!
