Joy Filled Wedding at the Lodge

Blessed to Serve

Some of our favorite couples are the ones we meet at weddings. For April and I it is such an honor to earn the privilege to be able to serve at a wedding. But when a happy couple sees us in action and decides they would like us to be there on their big day, it is that much sweeter!

A year and half ago we were serving a gorgeous couple, shout out to Mercedes and Layton! While there, we must have caught the eye of Natalie and Austin because a few months later they reached out to us and asked if we could be a part of there big day! We were more than thrilled at the opportunity! So a few weeks back, we got a chance to capture Natalie and Austin’s fun day with our camera’s! The best part is that we already felt like family!!

Upon arrival to the Springs Event Venue, The Lodge, we were greeted with so many familiar smiling faces! Everyone was helping decorate the gorgeous rustic venue. Light blue and white flowers adorned every table. The girls were in light blue dresses and the guys wore a darker blue suite with silver ties. Of course, Natalie, the bride to be, was dressed in a beautiful white wedding gown!

Favorite Moment

As Austin turned to see his bride for the first time a rush of emotion came over him. At first, he paused for a moment, smiling sheepishly. Then tears began to well up. Staring into Austin’s eyes as he began to cry, Natalie became overcome with joy and started too as well. Then, Austin wrapped his arms around his true love, in that moment, it seemed like time simply stood still. Nothing else mattered but the tenderness that these two felt for each other. There is nothing sweeter than witnessing that moment though our lenses.

Natalie and Austin, you both were so much fun! Thank you for letting us be there on your wedding day! Following you both around and capturing your special moments together is something we will not soon forget! We hope that the love you both share will continue to grow as time goes on. That as you traverse through life, you will always share the passionate beautiful love that we witnessed on your big day!
