Warm Beginnings

It was a warm April Saturday at Willow Creek Events Venue in Waxahachie Texas. A crowd of about 100 people gathered. Pete had taken his place at the front with the minister. His face filled with a mixture of joy and anxiousness as he waited for his bride to be. Macy was standing behind a closed door, across a charming little bridge over a small, picturesque creek that separates the outdoor ceremony area from the bridal suite.

As moments passed one could only wonder the emotions being felt by the happy couple. All the joyful instants and the trials. All of lives beautiful moments, leading up to this new, wondrous chapter. Then, just as they always do, the moment passed. The doors swung open and there was Macy. Pete’s eyes immediately fixated on her. As she made her way across the bridge the mixture of emotions on Pete’s face evolved into just one, joy. The best man on the other hand…..well he was a mess lol! Later, during his speech he would attribute the waterworks to allergies, but we all knew the truth!

Macy and Pete, thank you so much for allowing us to share in the joy of your wonderful day! Being able to capture every moment of your wedding was such an honor. You both truly are a beautiful couple, inside and out! When you both decide to renew you vows 20 years from now, we would be honored to be a part of it! We can shoot from our wheelchairs, and we can bring extra Kleenex for the best man 😛
