Warm Reception

We are so excited to share this gorgeous wedding at One Preston! Truthfully, we were not expecting such a grand occasion! Upon arrival we were met with the warmest of reception by both Alida and Will! After chatting for a moment, we went to go setup and check out the reception area.

Elegance Everywhere

There were floral arrangements everywhere! Circular tables had large center pieces and the buffet tables each had three separate bouquets. There were four pillars placed around the room cascading with red, yellow, pink, and orange roses! Even the dessert table was blanketed with flowers! We have shot at One Preston quite a few times and it is always beautiful. But this time, it was astoundingly elegant!

Favorite Moments

Two of our favorite moments from the day were, Alida’s genuinely kind spirit and Will getting into the canoe for a couple of pics. It is true that someone’s spirit cannot really be contained within a moment. But if Alida was present, there was no shortage of joy and laughter in the room. As for Will in the canoe, I will say that we both share a discomfort when it comes to having our picture taken. But he did a great job looking past that and getting into a shaky canoe on his wedding day so we could get some fun pics. We really should applaud both Alida and Will for their willingness to go for it when it came to pictures throughout the day!

Will and Alida, thank you so much for letting us serve you on your big day! Seeing the love, you have for one another through our lenses was something truly beautiful. We hope that years from now, when looking at your photos, you can relieve the emotions that you felt and in a way relive the moment.
