Today we are going to talk all about white balance and why we love shooting with our little bestie..the expo disc!! Okay sooo what exactly is white balance?? As the name suggests, white balance balances the color temperature in your image. Getting natural-looking colors and skin tones in images is very important because it might be impossible to fix it later.

There are 3 different ways to get the white balance you are wanting!!

Way #1: Auto white balance: this allows your camera to choose for you!! There are a few different settings you can do. To name a few there is cloudy, auto white balance, shade, sunny and fluorescent.

Way #2: Kelvin scale: a scale of temperature in which absolute zero is zero and Kelvins are used as units. The higher you turn up your kelvin scale the warmer the image will be. the lower you go on your kelvin the cooler your images will be.

Way #3: the Expo disc: takes all the guess work out!!! It builds confidence as we are shooting with our clients white balances to match colors to our exact setting saves hours later in post processing!! Watch until the end for a quick tutorial on how we set our expo disc.
