I had the honor of photographing Julie and Adam’s gorgeous wedding day this spring at The Arlo in Austin, with their stunning ceremony held at Saint Austin Catholic Church.

This wedding was extra special to me — Julie is the sister of one of my past grooms, Justin, whose wedding I captured a few years ago. It means the world when families invite me back to celebrate new milestones, and getting to be a part of the joy again with this family was such a gift!

From start to finish, this day was full of beauty, heartfelt moments, and FUN.

A Laid-back Couple with Big Hearts

Julie and Adam were such a dream to work with. They are both so genuine, down-to-earth, and truly in love. One of my favorite parts of the day was riding on the party bus with their wedding party — seeing firsthand how much their closest friends adore them. The energy on that bus was contagious, and it showed just how special this couple is to everyone around them.

A Meaningful Blend of Traditions

Another beautiful element of this day was the Blessing / Dinner / Knanaya Traditions that honored Julie and Adam’s heritage and faith. The blending of cultures, traditions, and modern fun was such a reflection of who they are — rooted in family and faith, and full of joy and warmth.
