“A woman’s heart should be so hidden in God that a man has to seek Him just to find her.” – Max Lucado.
Matthew 6:33 33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Johnathan and Kelley met at Prestonwood Baptist Church. They were both involved in a singles ministry and only knew of each other in passing. Even though, as Kelley admits, “I would walk certain paths through the church, hoping to run into him at times.” When Kelley was convinced she liked Johnathan, she dropped a not so subtle hint to a mentor friend of hers. Who passed on the word to Johnathan who acted immediately!
As they spent the next few months together, they grew to be great friends. But when life commitments began to weigh on their relationship, they decided to take some time apart. “The Lord knew we needed time to grow into who He desired us to be before bringing us together again.” Kelley said. A year later He did just that!
Kelley had been feeling the Lord leading her to start a singles group at Prestonwood Baptist that would focus on young professionals. Filling the gap between young single and adult singles. She called Johnathan to share the news with him and to her surprise, the Lord had put it on his heart to do the same thing!
On November 1st Johnathan led his sweetheart on a scavenger hunt, going to places they had been along loves journey. Their first date, their favorite spot for dessert, and finally, where they shared their first kiss. It was at that spot that Johnathan and Kelley took the next step in God’s plan for their lives and got engaged.
Johnathan and Kelley, we are so glad to be able to have been a part of your story! We are so glad you adhered to the Lord’s will for your lives and that He led you to where you are today! Being able to take your engagement pictures was a blessing to us! You both radiate a beautiful love and joy that can simply be described in one word, pure. We are so excited to be a part of the next chapter in your journey!
Until then, continue to grow in love and adhere to what God’s plan is for you.
Cheers!
