Ever wonder how to get those clean and bright photos that POP on your feed?? We have some lighting tricks for you today that will better help you when choosing your light and locations for your photos!

TOP LIGHTING SECRETS EXPOSED:

1. Golden hour – shooting in golden hour is going to make your photos soo much softer and skin tones will look amazing!! Golden hour is the hour before sunset or shooting within the first hour after the sunrises.

2. Reflectors: you don’t have to lug around a giant reflector to find lifted shadows. You can use a white wall or even where a white shirt or use a lighter colored cement to reflect amazing light back into your clients faces.

3. Open Shade: Finding those long shadows and having your clients step into them will help your photos have the soft even light you need!

4. Diffused light with an open background: Allow trees to give you that broken up sunlight so it’s not too harsh and washing out your clients faces with haze!! Choose a more open background with less heavy darkness (like dark green trees or brown tree trunks) will give you an overall brighter image!!
