My Favorite Colors for Spring Photos
Spring is HERE!!!
You know Spring is right around the corner when you are getting ready to lose that precious hour of sleep! It is soo worth though right? It stays lighter later and just reminds me of when I was a kid and got to play outside longer during those summer days.
How to Pick the Perfect Colors:
In order to get those stunning photos that just POP you must first pick out your color schemes! You can do this by looking at the sample color schemes online that you would normally use on your walls like this one! I love to pickout soft color tones so that it is complimenting all your neutrals and most importantly SKIN TONES!
After you find the colors that best compliment your skin tones and background it is time to pickout a dress for yourself. YES a dress! Just say YES to the DRESS ladies!! You won’t regret it, I promise! I know it feels silly but the better you dress the better you will fall head over heels in love with your photos! Once you have picked out your special dress then start to piece together your families by adding some neutrals like tan and blues.
Here is the exact two I picked out for myself from Hazel and Olive for my shoot I just had on Wednesday (pics to come soon, stay tuned!). They are neutral and soft that were easy to pair grays and whites with like I did for my kids and hubby. For my shoots I usually allow enough time for my clients to change into a different outfit so it is good to have a couple ready.
Outfits: One or Two?
When it comes to picking out a dress for yourself you always have an option to do two. For instance, for my personal photoshoot I decided to do two for myself and only do one outfit for the kids. Since I don’t have a lot of pictures with my husband, my main focus was to get some romantic photos of just him and I toward the end of our session when the sun was going down. ooohh la la!!
For most of my clients doing a family session, they like to change the kids as well so that is totally an option for you too! Here are my two dresses I chose for my personal photoshoot!
