There are a few special times in life when you encounter someone and genuinely just feel like they are some of the nicest people you have ever met. Well that is exactly how we felt about Olivia and Colten from the beginning and we didn’t even meet in person! I remember the first conversation we had was over facetime. They were both snuggled up together on the couch and we had so much fun just getting to know them and sharing laughs.

A few days ago we had the pleasure of being able to share laughs in person, while also capturing their engagement photos. We picked up right where we left off. These two Aggies/high school sweethearts were so much fun and embraced every pose we asked of them. As we tried different locations during our shoot I specifically remember thinking how much fun I was having. We did not stop until a couple of pesky bugs would not leave us alone! Which was probably good because by then the sun was lending us its last rays.

Olivia and Colten, you guys were the best. Thanks so much for being so fun and helpful during the engagement session. You two are genuinely as beautiful on the outside as you are kind on the inside; and that’s saying a lot, because April and I really do not think you could have been any kinder! We hope you both enjoy seeing your love through our lenses as much as we enjoyed photographing it. We are super excited to be a part of your special day in November at the Barn at Paradise Plantation. Until then I hope your kindness will continue to warm the souls of those around you!
