Snow in Texas!? Is it true?! About a week ago we were blessed with the opportunity to serve Devin and Amber on their big day. The weather called for rain, but a few days before their wedding it changed to snow! I am not sure what it is about snow, but when you haven’t seen it for a while, it makes you feel like a little kid again!
The whole drive to Willow Creek Events Venue in Waxahachie Texas we could not stop talking about how excited we were to be able to shoot a wedding in the snow! It may have only been a quarter of an inch, but when you live down south you take what you can get!
Upon arrival we got setup and started shooting. Amber and Devin are a super sweet couple in the middle of adopting not one, but two children! As we captured their special day, it was not uncommon for a little to either have snuck into a picture or intentionally be placed. It brought so much joy to us seeing these two start their new family and being able to share in the celebration of their wedding day.
Hands down our favorite part about the wedding was watching how excited Devin was! If there was a moment of stillness, he would instantly fill it with joy! Whether it was laughter, dancing, facial expressions, or striking a hilarious pose! Devin spirit was definitely a vibrant one!
Amber and Devin, thank you for allowing us to participate in your moments of joy! Watching your family together as you turned the next page in lives journey was so much fun! We hope that you will continue to have that vibrant love you displayed on your wedding day as life goes on.
Until we next meet,
Cheers!
